My father also has a flat head, but I'm not as bad as him. I used to have short hair back in middle school and I found out that my skull isn't round. Now I have longer hair and it doesn't seem so obvious, but is there any neuro-surgery that could help me recover the round skull?

Kneel down, open mouth, and I will put a beer on your flat head.

Jokes aside, the only one who can give you a legit answer on that one is a plastic surgeon or even a neurologist. Is the flatness in back or on top of your skull? If your hair covers it fairly well why consider surgery....seems rather radical and more than likely because it would be purely for cosmetic reasons, no insurance would cover it. I'm sure that kind of surgery would be more complicated than you think. Consult a doctor and good luck!

In this day and age there seems to be a procedure for everything. Still, are you really that affected bt having a flat head? It isn't a bad thing... and as you said, you let your long hair cover it up.
Still, if it is that important to you, simply ask a cosmetic surgeon if they even have a procedure for said problem. They may... they may not. It should be a free consultation, so what have you got to lose?

Yes , they can place a sphere shaped implant on the outside of your skull. It's a pretty complicated as well as costly procedure but it may be worth it to you . I don't know if it would be considered a Corrective or Cosmetic procedure though .
But I do know you'll have to have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon . Good Luck .

I wouldn't go thru sergery..painful and expensive ( I highly doubt insurance will cover..due to the fact that it would probably be considered cosmetic surgery) I would get a hot hairstyle or wear hats...be proud of your flat head! :) As long as your confident..people will think you're the BOMB DIGGIDY.
