And don't we ALL do it? Isn't it just a silly mind game we play?
Making a BIG DEAL out of other peoples faults, so we don't have
to take an honest look at our own?
And isn't it contrary? Because trying to put the attention on OTHERS, by talking about them, only GETS the attention on US?

In god's eyes, sin is sin is sin. We, as humans, have what is known as a "sin nature." This means that it is impossible to live our lives without sin. We can never measure-up to God's perfect standards in, and of, ourselves. But God has provided a way for us to be Holy and blameless in His eyes. He sent His son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice for our sins. Jesus paid for the sins of the world through His death on the cross(John 3:16). If we believe this, and accept Him as our Savior, we are assured eternal life with Him(Ephesians 2:8,9). Now - this does not mean that we will never sin again. We still have the sin nature, and will make mistakes and bad choices. God will forgive, if asked(First John 1:9). But, if we live for Him, the sins we commit should be greatly reduced.

All sin is equal.

All is offensive and all is forgivable.

The key to remember is we are judged by God on the meditations of the heart. I.e.the reason we do what we do.

ignorance get a get out of jail free card. Good intentions gone awry get a chastisement. Good works for selfish reasons are not counted. doing harm for self glorification in the name of God/righteousness is punishible by death earthly or eternal as blasphemy.

Well, it's not the unforgivable sin...that's the worst sin..no forgiveness given.

The Pharisees were self-righteous hypocrites...

There's nothing new under the sun, what was, is now; it's still being done! There will always be self-righteous hypocrites in the world.

Yes, you have a very good point.....those things are absolutely wrong....however, don't mistake pointing out genuine error with self-righteousness if you're going by the standards of GOD'S righteousness in doing so.....and there's a right and wrong way to go about doing it, for sure.

Yes, but there is a way to change this in our lives. Go to Jesus and tell Him your faults, then stop doing this evil gossip. He will forgive you and give you power to live a life without sin. Trust Him, obey Him, there is no other way.

Selfishness is the root of sin; why are you trying to make us feel bad so early in the day? We are but human.
