im 46 and hes 52 we were seeing each other for a few years and about 6weeks ago he started seeing someone else.he says he dont know whats wrong with him but i know he cares i used to call him everyday but for the past two days i havent.even when he called i never answered and it hurt but i hurt more when i hear his voice. he says he loves my daughters and we have been thru so much together.if i keep ignoring him will that make him wonder about me i love him so much.i just want ikt to be right again .

If you really love this guy then ignoring his calls is the wrong thing to do. If he wants space and has asked that you give it to him, you should not call him. But, if he calls you DO NOT ignore his calls. The only message that sends to him is that you have given up on him. He knows you are hurt. He is likely hurting as well. If you want this man in your and your daughters lives, then you need to try to work things out. Listen to him, give him his space, don't do something in retaliation that you can't take back. The old saying that if you love something you should set it free, if it comes back to you it will be yours forever, if it doesn't it never belonged to you in the first place comes to mind in your situation. Ask yourself if you would rather have this man in your life (even if it is only as a friend now). The answer to that question will guide your next actions. Just, don't do anything in haste or it might be something you will regret for a long time.

yes and maybe if u went out on a couple of dates with someone (meaningless dates) he will get jealous and want u back!!
but yes for now just ignore him, space really is the best thing, u both need time to think about things right now, and you won't be able to think things through if ur always with him or always calling him

Giving him space will make him realize one of 2 things, either its you he really cares about or the relationship wasnt working for him.

"space" is what is usually requested when your looking for a way out. If the relationship is strong enough You work things out, not walk away.

hes probably going thru mid life crisis and want to date around. it sucks but you need to move on. theres nothing you can do about it

hmm .... i would give him his space .... and maybe you need space also ....to think about what you want ... (a man thats going to tell you he needs space so he can see someone else...cmon) you need space from that type of man (love doesn't hurt and your hurting)
