The Bible is not a science book, yet it is scientifically accurate. We are not aware of any scientific evidence that contradicts the Bible. We have listed statements on this page that are consistent with known scientific facts. Many of them were listed in the Bible hundreds or even thousands of years before being recorded elsewhere.

Evolution is just as speculative as universal gravity, relativity or quantas.
This is just the way science is made: you speculate (logically and using your predecessor's works, or in reaction against them), build hypothesis and check if your theory is consistent with facts by observation and experiments.
This is what has been made with all those theories, which have been validated, at least to a certain extend (universal gravity is actually wrong, but can be considered an ok first approximation).
Evolution is still the best way to explain species diversity, and even though Darwin's original theories have been contested and improved (that was a century ago after all), the fundamentals are still accepted and used by 99% of the scientists. Now, if someone comes with a better explanation, it will be examined, and accepted if it's better indeed.
Christianity is a belief, and science has nothing to say about beliefs. Science gather facts and observations to help building theories to explain the world, and any scientific theory can be proved wrong if a valid contradictory observation is made, when beliefs, by definition, can't be proved wrong.
Science tells you how to build an atomic bomb, beliefs or moral tell you if you should use it.
Science contradicts most facts in the Bible, if you consider the Bible to be an accurate repport of events. But even the guys at the Vatican see the stories in the Bible as allegories, moreover written from the point of view of people who knew much less about the world as we do. So obviously the world isn't 10 000 years old and the universe emerged from a Big Bang.
Now, you're perfectly entitled to believe that a god, or a flying spaghetti monster, created what came before the Big Bang, creating the conditions for life to appear randomly in the universe. Which would mean that this being created the laws of the universe, but didn't create anything within it. He/she/it just let the laws he created work.
That should keep the believers happy and should let the scientists work in peace.

You cannot say the theory of evolution is not "real science". A theory comes from a hypothesis, and a hypothesis does have evidence to support it, not a random guess. If you tell me not to use the 4 corners reference, then sure, I will use a few others. Science has proven that hell is not inside the Earth and science has proven that the sun does not orbit around the Earth. The difference between science is the fact that science searches for facts and how the world works, while religion stubbornly teaches things that are not based on empirical evidence. If law today was influenced by religion, the world would be in chaos. There is a reason why law is secular.

Well, if there is a God, and he created everything, then God created science. So, I don't see how science could contradict Christianity, unless there is no God. In that case, reality contradicts Christianity, so science, as a part of reality, would also.
So, if you are Christian, you can't deny science, which is made by God. However, you can deny that there is a God, and not be a Christian, and in that case science would have to contradict the fallacy of God.
Something you need to understand: A scientific theory has graduated from a hypothesis (an educated guess) because there is evidence to support it. So, you can't say that a theory is not "real science". In fact, most of science is theory. It is taking what we know and have observed and attempting to tie it all together and use what we know to explain what we don't know. In the case of evolution, the facts (i.e. that living things evolve) leads us to use that as an explanation for how we got here as humans. That may be a theory, but it is based in the fact that creatures evolve.

This planet, sun, UNIVERSE, r just some things which r partially unxplainable
U can say in scientific terms that the universe is a large vauum kind of space with some particles in it, but u v have no xplanations abt why is it xisting
It is not that god created the universe or something, but something has created the universe n that is named by human beings as god.
Then by stupidity of some people, all of a sudden, all these ancient thoughts of real human beings were put aside, n normal human beings like *zesus* became a dog, i mean god, for the whole world. Isn't that funny.
The things like moving the sun instead of earth is scientifically not possible, coz, the movements in de space depends only on the masses of the celestial bodies
God is just a power which binds everything in the universe in the way it has to be for some reason which WE donno,
but no erson is a god for sure

yes and no.
Science does because the basis of science is to recognize what is prooven and what can be tested. It has a logical approach.
Religion can and does just make **** up at will. They usually clash because science once proven might fly in the face of a previously held belief and the followers (aka: rednecks and sheep) tend to feel threatened by the supposed bashing of thier sacred cows with cold hard facts.
What these religious people are too stupid to realize is that thier world and beliefs are fantasy, as such they can be re written or explained around. Proof that the world wasn't created in 7 days? "no 7 days was only a metaphor". Proof that there was no flood of that magnitude during the time of humans "Oh, god covered it up with his infinately magical powers that defy logic and intelligence".
wait, here is one they can't use thier fantasy world and comic book logic and sci-fi stories to explain.
If god is omnipotent, how come he can't create an object even he can't lift?

Firstly evolution isn't a speculative theory-only the mechanisms involved are theoretical. The fact of evolution is a reality which you need to deal with. So now that red herring is out of the road, yes science, i.e. biology and geology contradicts the literal interpretation of Genesis which poses a problem for some Christians.

noone is going to offer anything new. But just becaus science dosent prove it doesnt mean its not true. Just a few hundred years ago people thought the earth was flat. Science couldnt prove it was round till much later. But god knew it was round all along.

If you allow for an all-powerful being, anything is possible. Since science (including evolution) is based on observations of the Earth and the heavens, is you reject science (or at least the observations), you reject creation.

Hi, pure and honest science cannot contradict Christianity as all things have been created by God, Atheistic scientists have tried to use science to dispute the existance of God but to date have not managed to.
the most successful scientists it seems are those who admit to God`s fingerprint on creation.
