hard bump infront of ear?

My friend has a hard little bump that just appeared in front of her ear; what is it? Is it a lymph note that is stressed?

could be I suppose. Does she have an earache or possible infection from earrings?

maybe a keloid (scar tissue that develops from injury to the area)
