Retainers are used after your orthodontics come off, not before. That's what they are called retainers, to retain your correction. There are invisilign braces that are a sort of molded plastic for over the teeth that will straighten them but keep in mind they are recommend for corrections that will take less than a year and cannot be used for an overbite. An evaluation by an orthodontist is your best place to start and remember none of this is cheap.
