Yesterday, there was a question about how the Christian feels about converts! I thought it is only fair to see how the Muslims feels when their own convert from their faith.
How do you feel toward Muslims who convert to Christianity?
Do you have arguments as to why is it wrong, in your opinion?
Do you feel strongly against those who convert to Christianity, Judaism, or another religion? or are your feeling equally felt the same, more or less?
I do have some idea how many feels about it, but I would like to know your opinion. These days we assume to much, which cause more troubles than solutions.
thanks for your input.

hayaa_b, pardon me, I was asking about the people who convert from Islam to another religion, such as Christianity, not the one who convert to Islam.
anyhow, thanks for your input. May the Lord Bless you, and keep you safe.

Muslimah, I am not judging you, nor will I ever will. I was just asking you questions. Good Luck to you, and Hope you are happy with your life. NO judgment, just questions that is all.
Some of your remakers are somewhat hurtful, but I hope you didn't mean it. And as Jesus Christ (PBUH) as you wish to add to his name: "Turn the other Cheek." I don't pitty you. I ask God to Bless you, and keep you safe. There is nothing to pitty you for. You just misunderstood me, and that is Ok.
God Bless

I'm Muslim, not too religious, but I think it's none sense to convert to another religion when you know Islam.
In my opinion, man-made religions are none sense at all. I respect Judaism & Christianity, & I'd follow them if I were born before Islam, but what make me choose Islam over Jaudism & Christianity nowadays is the human alteration of both (no offense meant but this is part of my faith as a Muslim, and a reason why God needed to send another religion).
I can understand conversion of a Muslim to atheism, but not to another religion & especially not to a religion sent by the same God of Islam. Conversion to atheism makes sense to me, as one may deny presence of God. But if you still believe in the same God, why go to his older version of the religion (assuming it's still intact)? And in case of a person who studied Islam and realized the alteration made to the other 2 Abrahamic religions, this person has another reason not to go to the older versions of God's message.
I hope this answer your question.

nacmanpriscasellers,
Sorry, that was a wrong info. Muslims offered two choices, convert to Islam or pay jezyah (arabic word means tax).

If someone converts to another religion from Christianity i feel disappointed that a beautiful religion that is Islam was not enough for them. At the end of it all, it is their decision and they will have to answer to God on the Day of Judgment

Definitely, as no one like to see any one leaving his community or home. This also holds good for religion. It is not liked by any Muslim. We consider that person is having a weak faith over Allah and we are sure that there may be something wrong with his/her basic and phenomenal teachings. It is not that they are not allowed to have research or study other religions, rather Islam orders to get knowledge of other religions so we may know the difference.

Well, i will say this, he's incorrect approximately the factor that you simply might be a fine muslim, nope you would not, critically. Islam isn't a faith. By simply final your eyes and repeating what he believes and begin doing what he does everyday might deliver you not anything and might now not make you muslim in anyway. Islam is a submissive temper that you simply might have closer to the purpose of your life. Whatever the purpose is, after discovering it, promising your self to comply with it. You have all you want, moral sense, good judgment, rationality and a middle to verify what fact is, after finding out the correct resources approximately all international perspectives and if you're in "such" temper, you'll already get guided to the reality to your middle & soul.

Well, I am a convert so I am a little biased :-P however I can relay to you my husband's opinion on converts, and some friends and colleagues who have expressed the same opinion.
What they say is that they see converts as much greater Muslims than themselves, and so lucky to be this type of Muslim. They say that they believe this because they were raised in the religion, so it is expected of them to behave like a good Muslim should behave. However for us converts, we are changing our entire lives to that of a good Muslim. We're leaving behind whatever lifestyle and religion and ties to that religion because we see what we percieve to be such greatness in Islam and risk losing that for this new religion. It takes alot of courage and determination.
Again, not my opinion, just what I've been told. I personally feel that we are so blessed to be part of the society. I see the good in Islam (I did my research, I know truth from stereotypes) and I feel that God certainly cares for me to pick me of all people to introduce this way of life to.

(Trinity: To lie is a sin to promote a lie is a Sin. I am a convert. I ask the questions I ask because I want to know what the average person knows about the particular subject Also I WANT TO LEARN ABOUT OTHER RELIGIONS AS MY FRIENDS ARE NOT JUST MUSLIMS..... Also my whole purpose in asking and answering questions is to understand where people are coming from and what they believe. The accusation you are making is very grave. Because you are accusing me of something I did not do and for that you have my Jok (this means you lied and you do not have proof of what you say.) Sincerely I pitty you, because you do not even know what you believe and instead of defending your belief you reseort to attacking mine. May God for give you for your sins. LIYING being the most obvious as you do not even know me yet you lie about me.
Furthermore, I look for peace, understanding and tolerance among all people, obviously you don't, if that bothers you so, Maybe You have not learned the lessons from Jesus Christ (PBUH). May Allah be with you and Guide you rightly Ameen)
PS You do not know me so please do not lie about me... Hae a great day.... Again do not delete this question for the same reason you asked me not to delete mine!
YOU HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING YOU SO THIS IS THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO ANSWER YOU.
What I choose to do with my life is My Business not Yours WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME????
============================================
EDIT: Peace be upon you. Apology Accepted. I do not mean any harm in my questions. I always ask in a way that the answerer can treat me as though I was 2 years old. That is my learning style, in the way I ask the wquestions. No, not even I am save from sin, I know our prophet pointed this out many times. I would love to be your friend and get passed this. As I said my objective is simple here, to make friends and to learn from the different religions... nothing more nothing less.
Have a blessed day.
PS. Yes I was very hurt I have never being called a layer in my whole life. I always tell the truth.

Speaking as a non-Muslim, I can say that yes, they do welcome converts, based on what I've read--in fact, historically, Muslim invaders offered the people of the lands they conquered basically two choices, convert to Islam or die.
