First of all you can only use one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict. You can use three or for antispyware programs without any conflict.

You should remove Nortons as it is a resource hog and has a very long history of being garbage. Each an every year this program continues to get worse.

In my spare time I test antivirus/spyware program to see if they perform as claimed. Also to see if there are any embedded trojans or adware. (On my backup computer).

I use a free version of http://www.avast.com This program is true state of the art technology an as one of the very best background scanners that really works to catch a trojan or other virus embedded in a webpage or file before it can enter your system. You will get automatic updates usually two or three times per day. Also has the ability to send any file in the virus chest that is infected, back to Avast for evaluation.

They will ask you for your email address so they can send you your free key that is good for one year. After one year you must ask for a new key. The corporate version is the same as the free version. They just make corporate pay.

Used Avast for over nine years an I never had one virus.

jeanjean's suggestion is one good free antivirus software.

but mine is better: Avira Antivir Personal Classics.
I've been using it for free for 2 years now and it catch all the little bugs that creeps into your pc.

goto www.download.com to get it and compare the 2 yourself if you don't believe me.

my friend there is always lots of cheap pirated cd's around the block and i suggest that you buy a copy of norton anti virus it is the most advance antivirus this world has, as of now and about that reg fee dont worry about it because usually the cd often has free keygens(Key generators).

try it

many of the comp here at IBM use it.and it has never failed us even once
