It is according to your mentality, and how ya want to really study English. But I think you studied some English, your question is in English. I studied English for about 8 years, and now I can speak nearly like a native. But, it may take from ya a long time because English is different from many other languages that one of them may be yours. But, from my point of view, English is not hard.

if you spend a lot of time with people who speak english you will pick it up very quickly.
also a good way to learn is to read childrens books,the words and sentences are more basic and easier to pick up.
just dont expect it to happen over night.
the more you practise the better you will become.
