Congrats on the little one! I've had 2 C-Sections and it is common for the scar to itch during the healing process. The outer skin looks healed but healing takes forever it seems. I recommend a good cocoa butter cream or lotion (non-generic) or a lotion with aloe without perfume if possible. It will help the scar stay hydrated which will help with itching and might help with the appearance also. God Bless to you and your family and I hope my opinion on this matter helps in some way.......Cowgirl

Itching near your wound is natural. Most people say that is a sign of healing but it may also be a result of the tapes that have been used. It is best to avoid scratching the wound. If it becomes too much of a problem, there are oral medications that you can take or some topical cream to help make this more tolerable.

I had "Open Heart" surgery back in Feb. ( 2006) and my stitches frequently itch. Just recently, I had occasion to visit a Plastic Surgeon for removal of a spot which tested positive as being malignant. He stated that the itching could be taken care of by removing the scar tissue and tightening the incision. I'm not sure if you have the same situation as I have but if its a real problem, go back to your Doctor and inquire as to what he (she) would recommend

Should not still have stiches after 7 months. It may be the scar that is itching. Put some lotion on it. Maybe try some benadryl cream.

Try massaging as often as you can body oil or body lotion, just massage wait a few minutes for it to absorb in the flesh and again whenever you feel its itching or even better every one or two hours, just oil the place it will slowly go away even though when weather changes you might itch even years after.

itching is a sign of healing. Don't scratch use lotion. By the way, i hope you meant "scar from stitches" not actual stitches. They should be gone by now.
