Yes, they can refuse it if they want.

For one collection account, they may not be shaken.

An Audit Firm deals in financial transactions. If you show that you are unable to manage your own finances, why should they want you to manage someone else's.

You need to make sure that there is a rebuttal letter in your credit file that addresses the issue of the $330.00 debt and the reason it is in dispute. If it is not resolved to the collection agency's satisfaction, they can and will make an entry on your credit report that could lower your score. 680 is a reasonably good number.

Yes you can be refused for a job if you have bad credit, particularly if it's a financial company or a government job.

However, your credit score is at/above the national average, so you have nothing to worry about.

You are only 40 points below the highest level of credit rankings. You could actually achieve this fairly easily by increasing your credit limit on one or two of your credit cards, without actually increasing your spending.

680 is actually not too bad of a score. People will deny you a job because they are afraid you will steal from them in some fashion, in order to get your finances back on track.

Employers can opt not to offer employment for any reason and are not required to divulge that reason.

Credit scores and records are only part of the employment canditate check process.

Ths should not affect your application or chances at all. 680 is an average or better credit score so i would not worry about it.
