I would suggest splitting 3 ways 2 for the meal one pays the tip. Works great for my friends and I. This is called going Dutch treat.. .

talk to the guy you asked about it.. or take turns paying each time you go out.

Its not a date cause your firend is coming as well. When its a date you can worry about whose paying. Since its (at the moment) just 3 friends meeting for lunch, everyone pays for their own unless someone insists otherwise.

I would say you pay for the boy because you invited...your friend can pay for herself or catch you on the back-end. If the young man offers to pay...deny him only once...let him be generous if he chooses, but fighting about the bill is pretty rude.

Seperate checks always seems to work. If you have enough cash then you could pay since you invited them.

It doesn"t matter who pays,But a real gentleman will always offer
to pay but the two of you aren't in any kind of relationship
so maybe you shoul d
split the bill he doesn't owe you anything and
you won't owe him anything.Have a great time

I feel that you should just eat and not think about it! If he pays then give him your money after all you did ask him out to lunch.

If he hasn't volunteered to pay by asking you out I would ask for separate checks until you know where it's going, he invited you not you and your girlfriend.
