SAN ANTONIO – Gov. Rick Perry, after a God and country sermon attended by
dozens of political candidates Sunday, said that he agreed with the minister
that non-Christians will be condemned to hell.

"In my faith, that's what it says, and I'm a believer of that," the governor
said.

I'll bet he'd have been more than happy to count my vote if I'd voted for him, even though I'm one of them hell-bound non-Christians.

He's welcome to his beliefs. So long as he doesn't start using them as the basis for legislature and forcing everyone else to live by them.

And he needs a little bit of time to think about "political savvy" - it was pretty dumb of him to walk into that trap, IMHO. Even in Texas.

Me, I voted for the Jewish cowboy.

Free country, freedom of speech, freedom to have his own opinion, freedom to agree with and voice his agreement with who he agrees with. Freedom of religion. So what's your problem?

Well, if he is a born again Christian, then that is true, if he is not-then what was he talking about.
