After my Father-in-law's funeral, my husband received the flag from his father's casket, but it is misshaped and the fold is sloppy, and uneven, it is even more evident after we put it in its display case, is there someone I can contact to have it refolded correctly?

Sometimes when you get these services, you get the bottom of the barrel. I apologize on their behalf. Call up your local VFW, or USO agency, and I bet they would have someone who would be glad to re-fold it for you.

You best bet is to call the funeral home, we fold flags ALL the time and are very familiar with the proper procedure! Take care!

If you wish to have your flag refolded, call your local American Legion, VFW, Boy Scout troop, U.S. Armed Force veteran.
Any of them should be able to do that job properly and I predict would be happy to do it.

I would be happy to do it, if you were anywhere near me. Otherwise, as was suggested contact the VFW post in your town, or a local boy scout troop.
