Yes it does, or you can buy a smaller machine for just your face.
I think you need to weigh up the balance between the risks of acne and the risks of sun treatment though. (Skin cancer)
Maybe best course of action is a little treatment and not too often.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

You may want to seek out acne cleansers containing salicyclic acid, which is effective in breaking down keratin in blackheads and removing dead skin cells, helping to prevent clogged pores.
Some of the most common acne medications, including tetracycline and the retinoids, can make your skin extremely sensitive to the sun. If you're using these acne medications, wear sun-protective clothing and apply sunscreen before venturing outside.
Don't aggravate your acne! Squeezing or picking pimples will only increase inflammation and can lead to scarring. Hard as it may be, try to keep your hands away from your pimples and let nature take its course.
Avoid excess exposure to sunlight, and do not use tanning booths or sun lamps.Contrary to popular belief, tanning does not clear acne; it simply masks acne. Tanning also increases one’s risk of developing melanoma and other skin cancers. Additionally, some acne treatments can increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight and ultraviolet light from tanning booths and sun lamps. If you have acne, it is important to protect your skin by following sun-protection practices, such as wearing sunscreen and avoiding sunburns.

I have heard that UV light(sunbed) can help treat acne, however you would need to weigh up the pros and cons of this type of treatment.
Be mindful of the dangers of skin cancer.
A good topical treatment for mild acne is 'freederm gel'

The sun is good for acne, the outdoor life is better.
So if you can get outside on a sunny day and play in clean untreated water, don't use a sunbed.
If you must use one, keep it moderate.

the idea is that tanning dries up you skin and oils thus decreasing acne. you are better off using oxy 10 with 10% benzoyl peroxide at wal mart for like 3 dollars. if it is you face use at least 2 times a day. if it you're body you can just use the oxy when you shower. and shower at least once a day. it is important that you wash your face before bed so the oils don't sit on it all night.

No, in fact it may make it worse. Besides the damage that you are doing to your skin with those harmful UV rays outweighs ANY benefit you could ever get for your acne. It's not worth it. If you have mild acne, you need to buy some over the counter medication like Stridex, Clearasil or a product with Salicylic acid in it.

That's why I go. I like to have color on my face in the winter time but also it helps with acne when it's 'that time of month'. I only go @ once a week. If you go too much you'll look like pleather!
