What kind of exercise are you doing? You need to do a blend of fast-paced cardio, slower paced cardio and weight training. Also, cutting out high fat or refined carbs will kick start weight loss. I hit a plateau until I cut out dairy (make sure to take a calcium supplement) and now the weight is melting off again (but I also exercise 6x week). Try the Firm workouts, they have the perfect blend of cardio, weight training and sculpting and have done wonders for my bum!

miracle diets never work otherwise they wouldn't need heavy advertising. Everybody would be doing the miracle diet.
the bodies of some people use food more efficiently than that of others, also we are not all of the same height and don't have the same jobs (e.g. desk job versus construction work). Comparing your food intake to that of others will not necessarily work.
You either can decrease your input (or its caloric value) or increase your calorie use and exercise more.
You can do things which will result in a short term weight loss, but the faster you lose it, the faster you'll gain it.
I don't know why eating out will increase your food intake - unless you think if you paid for a meal you have to eat every scrap of it even if you are full.
Remember that there can be a lot of calories in what you drink. Add that into your consideration of your diet. Easiest if you decide to just drink water or unsweetened tea/coffee. Avoid sugary stuff like sodas even fruit juices contain a lot of sugar.

listen, forget that bread- in any colour- was even invented. And sugar, cut it out in your tea, coffee, etc. Cut down on your pastas and try eating brown rice. Walk briskly for 1 hour every day. Don't eat after six in the evening. Dont cut down on any of your meals. Maybe you should try eating small potions six times a day than huge portions 3 times a day. Skip. have muesli or a smoothie for breakfast or an apple. Muesli and an apple will see you through lunch. Eat low GI foods as it is slow releasing. Do alot of cardio exercises at least 4 times a week. Once you start seeing results you can lessen your walking. And you can start doing toning exercises. But loose the fat first. Good luck. There is no fast solution. Every ones metabolisms are different. But the more patient you are the better the long term results would be for you.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

There are no miracle diets. Your body isn't supposed to change weight at the drop of a hat....
But I'll give you the same advice I give all weight-losers:
Drink Vodka & Red Bull .... It will make you hyperactive without wasting too much time thinking about it. Hyperactivity leads to burning of energy reserves which leads to weight loss.
... And exercise in the cold. If your body has to burn up more energy trying to keep you warm, thats extra weight you're going to be losing.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
