Bad things happen to us all and so do good things that is life. It is how we deal with the bad times though that define what kind of person we really are. Somewhere high above us or all around us, depending on how or what you believe, God is watching and waiting to see how you deal with life. It is the choices you make here that will define the life you have after this one is done.

I believe it is a natural string of occurrences. But there are no coincidences. I am to learn from the event. There is no punishment either except the punishment we dole out to ourselves.
Hey BorgPet! Good morning!

Mother nature for natual disasters. The devil is "god" of this world now, and he has reign to do stuff, but greater is He that is in me than that which is in the world. When bad stuff happens to me, I think of it as just life. I don't think that God is cursing me, or the devil is raging against me, or that some witch has cast a spell on me. My choices effect my life, good or bad. I can choose to follow God's rules, and He wants good for me, or I can choose to follow satan, sin in pleasure for a little bit, and reap the consequences for this life and all eternity.
I choose God.

As I am currently going through a period of one thing after another, I honestly believe that I'm being tested to better my faith in God. If God helps me survive these crisis, then I am who he is calling me to be. I don't believe I'm being punished, none of my crisis have been nature related thus far but as for the devil trying to get the better of me.......... Sure - he's trying and I'm doing everything in my power to stay focused on God.
I do believe God grieves with us as we go through illnesses - I don't believe he gets us sick or places us harm - we do that ourselves. I do believe he protects us from our selves when he can.

I think God overrules for good when I ask Him to, and I've been asking Him a lot lately! We do have a relentless enemy, and my personal theory is that God allows him to have a bit more freedom when we choose his rule and therefore qualify for "punishment."

Good morning, 6 of 10.
When anything...good or bad...comes my way, I consider it a matter of circumstance, coincidence, and the choices I made bringing me to that point. Nothing more.
Hope you have a good day.
