I woke up yesterday with my top lip swollen...I don't know what it's from, but it itches and it's sore. It's not a fever blister or a cold sore...I'm thinking it's some sort of bug bite. Anyway, I need it gone by friday...I've got a once in a lifetime opportunity and I CANNOT pass it up.

I went to Walgreens and got some Aveeno intense relief medicated therapy and some Burt's bees lip balm. I had the pharmacist look at it, and this is what he told me to use, so I did. When I woke up this morning, it was worse!!! Do any of you have any suggestions as to what I can do to have this gone by friday night?

No smartazz comments! I KNOW it's not herpes, people!

Hey, big lips are in, so take some Burt's Bees and let them sting your bottom lip so they both match.

you should go to the doctor i feel your probably having a allergic reaction to something and in that case you will need to take some benadryll however this could be a spider bite and if so you still need to see a doctor cause this happening to people and they end up having to receive a shot and put on antibiotics dont take any risks.

It's time for you to go to the doctor. If you're having an allergic reactions OTC antihistamines would probably do the trick, but since it's causing you great discomfort, you should go to a MD.

first get Benadryl for the itching and discomfort . then use some ice packs on your lip if that doesn't help ask your Dr for some cutivate cream . that always helps with bug bites
