You had better pack for winter, because the weather out on the beautiful blue ocean is a lot cooler then on land, because of the wind, and it's so breezy! It's also November which is cold anyway.

I just returned from my 11th cruise two weeks ago and could give you a long list. But will keep it brief. First of all you will not wear nearly as much as you think. You can re-wear some cloths as you may only have them on for a few hours. If you buy t-shirts you can wear them the next day too. All cruise lines ask that you don't wear shorts/cutoffs or swimsuits in the dining rooms in the evenings. You can in the buffet style areas. On the "formal" nights some passengers will be very dressy but I usually wear dress pants and a nice shirt. No tie. You will need a couple of pair of shorts, comfy shoes for trips off the ship, swimsuit, some dressy things and all the under garments. I would also suggest you bring sunscreen, it's easy to get burnt even in the winter. Hope you enjoy it. Check out the website below for lots more on cruising. There is always lots to do even while at sea.

We have been on the Norwegian Dream to the western Caribbean on a 7 day cruise. The cruise is excellent and you will have fun. But remember that there are warm days and cool nights. Swim suits are great for the pool and deck, but dressier clothes are for the dining areas. You may want to bring some formal-type attire for the 2 formal nights they have. Remember, you are on a vacation. Make the most of it and don't regret having 1 or 2 nice outfits to live it up.

If you are worried about the amount of luggage, then you should bring clothing that mixes and matches. Also, except for going to and from the airport, you are not going to be handling your luggage much. You unpack for the trip and then pack the night before you leave.

Don't forget comfortable walking shoes, a cap, sunglasses, and sunscreen. You'll be sorry if you do.

The weather should be really nice and warm but not too hot in the Caribbean. November in the Caribbean is typically absolutely beautiful weather. Houston weather changes very quickly from hot to cold but presumably you will mostly be indoors at the airport. Shorts and tee shirts for your stops in the Islands and of course swim suits. But don't walk around in your swim suit when you are sight seeing in the Islands - only at the beach or the pool. Casual is always okay but the Islanders don't appreciate people who parade around town in their swimsuits. For dinner you will probably have a choice between casual and dressy. I would take both so you can do whichever you feel. There should be details of dinner choices on your vessel on the cruise lines website. Have a great time!

I've done this same cruise and found it quite pleasant. Your going to need some shorts and short sleeve shirts for daytime. Jeans will work if you are cold natured. It's going to be in the high 80's pretty much everywhere you go. However, at night it will get chilly. Take you nice outfits to wear at night and take a good wind breaker. I like packing a fleece. It rains almost daily at some of your stops, so I'd suggest packing one of those pocket ponchos that folds up.

The problem is you'll be taking a lot of clothes because of the radical day/night temp changes. Plus jeans and shorts are not allowed in the formal dining areas. You need some nicer stuff if you wish to eat something other than the buffet!

And pack the swim trunks - it will be warm enough.

Just shirts, somethings nice for dinners, shorts, swimsuits and other casual and usual stuff, and maybe a raincoat if you're going off the ship at stops.
There could be a chance for rain.
November is rainy season.

From my journey interior the previous you like delicate sandals, tennis footwear and get dressed footwear. additionally take a transportable shoe bag to hold on the bathing room door to shop toiletries. Take samples of shampoo, creme rinse, physique cleansing soap etc which take in alot of area on your suitcase. Oh and a small medical kit! i mandatory it. I took one formal dress and wore it with a headband one night and and not using a headband the 2d night.
