I don't think anyone "wants" to be alone.
I'm over 40 and single. Until that special someone comes along I prefer it this way.
I would much rather be alone than miserable in a relationship.
Keep friends close and keep busy. You'll meet someone.

If you're lonely go out with some friends. You might find that certain someone where you least expect it. What are your hobbies? Where do you live? Are you more of a social person or private type? You need to figure these things out and then you will be able to figure out how to go about finding someone who is compatible with you. E-mail me and I will give you some more tips.

I think a lot of get this feeling and we get into thing or we get with someone that really sucks so I can tell you this only because I too feel this a lot it is hard thing to get out of maybe this is way I am here. I also got myself into trouble because of this I am to get married in may and my Fiancee went out of town and I got onto the computer and went into an area I shouldn't have and she found out about it and thank god we worked it out and so what I am saying to you is watch out for what you are looking for. I do not have answer for you but to get some counseling or Volunteer to something.
