God has nothing to do with human political systems.
Neither democrats nor republicans represent the interests of God's Kingdom (despite popular opinion to the contrary) because that Kingdom is not of this world.
Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.” - John 18:36.
The real ruler of the world is Satan the Devil.-John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11

He didn't. Bush just didn't do as great a job as he should have of president. Both years it was split 50% on who should be president. The first time it ended up in the supreme court. The second time the candidate gave up. That didn't make him very popular. And thats not even including the war in Iraq. It was a great decision, but highly contreversial which didn't make republicans popular.

Why did God allow Katrina? Why did God allow 9-11? I feel we aren't meant to have all the answers in this world but to only trust God. God is all powerful and can change the universe and all things in it. Still, all kinds of things happen; good and bad and only He knows the final outcome. Trust.

Because (shhh!) either
i) She isn't there
or
ii) Her son, Jesus, a truly devout Liberal (think about it) has finally convinced her that 'Right-wing' logic just isn't logical or fair!
If you give it some serious thought, there isn't really a hill of beans difference between any of us as human beings (in the scheme of things), and the real difference between a "Republican" and a "Democrat" is a lifestyle choice; Democrats will freely admit they are flawed individuals (and try to cash in on their 'openness'), and Republicans like pretend they aren't flawed in any way, right up to the moment they get caught.
If you had to lend $1000 to a homosexual, who do you think would most likely pay it back, Barney Frank, or Ted Haggard?

Because it was "appropriate".
Read Rational Spirituality on the Dhaxem website. It will explain why, according to the 7 Divine Laws, an inappropriate event does not take place.
