Did you see some of the ballot measures passed by Arizona yesterday? Especially the one about English is now the official language there! Did any other states pass similar measures?

What difference does it make,english or spanish.A person can hate with either language.
The Navaho are from here.Yet why were they told not to speak their native language.
White people have always hated native Americans.Why are you looking for excuses.
Spanish did not come from Mexico.It was brought here by spaniards who came here to plunder and take from the south American natives.
The reason for the hate is because all Native Americans will not stay in their place and do what they are told by white people.

If there are 20 million illegal aliens here.I bet the Democrats make them legal so they can pay taxes.

Arizona has been on the front line of fighting for the rights of legal Americans.I am very proud that my state is showing the rest of the country the way for each state to help themselves.Even CA has English as its official language so you can see that that doesn't mean much unless the state makes better tougher laws about every thing that concerns legal Americans, and the illegal aliens intrusion into this nation.If they only came to love this nation and support it,I might feel a little differently.But most of them come to this nation with their hate and their hands out,nothing more.Ever watchful and ever vigilant must be our rally cry.

We were also the first state of 25 to reject a restrictive measure against gay marriage. We're not just conservative or liberal across the board, like Texas or New York (stark examples, admittedly), but instead we take each issue as it comes. We recognize that illegal immigration hurts all Arizona residents - not just for the Americans, but for Mexicans, too - so we fight to prevent it. We see that bans against same-sex couples are unfair so we reject initiatives against it as well. I like how this state is open-minded, if absolutely nothing else. We don't give a damn about being politically correct, but we're not even remotely the Religious Right, either.
And in response to someone above, global warming has actually given us more precipitation; it's cooled us down. This year has been the coolest one in as long as I've been living here (seven years), so neh.

What an example Arizona has become for the rest of the country.

Every state should pass laws preserving the American sovereignty, and giving state law enforcement officials the power to enforce federal laws. This to mean arresting, containing and deporting illegals.

For example:

An Initiative By the Citizens of the State of ------

Whereas the security of the citizens of the State of ------ is the responsibility of the law enforcement agencies of the State;

Whereas the law enforcement agencies of the State are not enabled to enforce certain laws of the United States;

Whereas the citizens of the State of ------- will benefit if State and local law enforcement agencies are authorized to enforce certain laws of the United States;

It is in the best interests of the citizens of the State of ------ to authorize the law enforcement agencies of the State of ------ to enforce certain laws of the United States.

The local and State law enforcement agencies of the State of ------ are hereby authorized to enforce criminal laws of the United States, except in such areas that the United States has expressly reserved enforcement of such laws to the United States and its agencies.

The prosecutors of the local and State entities are authorized to prosecute persons accused of violation of the laws of the United States, which have been apprehended by State or local law enforcement agencies.

The courts of the State of ------ are authorized to adjudicate cases brought by prosecutors of the local and State entities subject to the jurisdictional requirements of Section *.

State and local agencies are authorized to seek reimbursement from the United States for enforcement efforts.

Have enough signatures and something like this can be placed on the ballot for vote. This would follow the Arizona example and be the VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.
