I am 5'0 and weigh 119-120, my scale jumps back and forth. I exercise about 5-6 times a week from a 1/2 hr to an 1hr. I eat 3-4 small meals a day and nothing unhealthy. I don't drink pop I only drink water and juice (apple or orange), and I eat fruit daily. Mainly water is what I drink. And if I eat fast food I get a grilled chick. sandwich or a salad. What am I doing wrong?

Start eating small meals every two hours. Have your three meals and then healthy snacks in between. It keeps your metabolism going throughout the day and burns off calories quicker.

To lose 5lbs in 5-6 days .. you can do it in 2/3 days: eat only fruit and veg, as much as you like, whenever you're hungry but avoid peas, beans, corn and potato. You can have salad with a little dressing. You can have stir fry with a little olive oil. Make yourself a pot of vegetable soup and try to include cabbage and cauliflower. Avoid alcohol. Make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water, unsweetened juice, unsweetened tea or herbal tea. You will lose 2lb each day and it's also a good detox, but don't do it for any longer than 3 days.

It sounds like you are doing everything right-- but your body just may be getting used to your work out regimen. Switch it up a bit-- try doing some cardio--- If you do the same excercizes for a long time-- it will actually stop working-- so look at the workout you have now, and switch it all around-- take a cardio class 3 times a week and when on the treadmil(or walking outside) go in intervels(sp) this works really well! SOmething like this:
walking briskly for 5 minutes, nearly jogging for 2 minutes, walk briskly for 5 minutes, nearly running for 2 minutes... over and over for about 20 mins or so dependingon your fitness level. Then end with 5 mins of slower walkign to "cool down"

You are doing everything right, and it shows. You have a very HEALTHY weight- you are NOT overweight. I wish more people had your dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

If you still want to drop a few lbs, you might want to restrict some calories. Usually 3500 calories = 1 lb. So if you cut 500 calories each day, you can lose a lb a week, a healthy rate of loss. Any more and you will put your body in a starvation mode and make weight loss more difficult.

You have a healthy lifestyle - do not change it for a crash diet.

Good luck!

First of all at your heighth you already weigh your average weight. 120lbs. is healthy for your heighth, but if you want to really loose that simple five lbs. go for a walk every day and eat three healthy meals a day, or go dancing. Heck, Dance around in your house while your watching t.v. or cleaning. You will loose the five lbs. in three days that way.

In all likelihood, you don't. I might be possible if you were overweight, but since you're not, you will probably not be able to burn off enough lean muscle mass to lose that much weight in that short a time period. Though, if you continue to starve and overtrain, you will eventually start burning lean muscle mass. Please note: your heart is a muscle. This is not healthy.
