I don't like taking any kind of prescribed meds unless I have to. Tea tree oil will take away ringworm as it gets rid of the fungus which causes it.

Yes, antifungal pills are bad for your liver--they can even cause liver failure. Before your doctor prescribes them you will have to get blood tests.

Antifungal pills can also cause headaches, stomach upset, skin rashes, changes in taste, visual disturbances, and HEART FAILURE.

Unless your condition has been definitely diagnosed under a microscope and WILL NOT respond to any other topical treatment, pills are probably not the best solution.

Good luck!

Anything that you take into your body is filtered in some way by your liver. All medications are attacked by your body as foreign invaders and are met by enzymes tha either change or kill the original drug.
As long as you take the med according to your doctors orders, don't mix with anything that could cause a reaction (see the pharmacist for help ) and eat/ drink right, you should be okay.

I think all pills are bad for the liver and other inside organs. Drink herbs.
