I think there is a general rule for when driving behind another vehicle to allow yourself a 2 second distance from their rear bumper to your front bumper. Meaning, when their rear bumper passes a telephone pole, or other stationary object, it should take two seconds for you to reach that same object. As for at a shop, I would stop so that you can see their rear bumper or at leat their taillights. If you can't see them, you may be too close.

If your "grill" can melt a bumper sticker... you may want to worry about your engine temp, rather than how close you are. lol

yes - you !

use a road sign or a freeway
or a turnpike or somethin.

see when his car passes it then count out 5 secs

if you hit that mark before you count to 5 seconds you are way too close.

unless you have a bumper sticker that says
( you watch my *ss, I;LL watch hers........)

:) LOL

I think the cat will either run away or scratch you if you are following him/her too closely.
