I do, because too much happens to be a "coincidence". Something must govern us and whether you call it God or Mother Nature, there is still a higher power at work here

Hi, I am Rational Spirituality.

I believe in higher power, because it demostrates iteslf to me every day of my life.

I also believe in it, because I am familiar with the Concept of Rational Spirituality, available on the Dhaxem website. It explains all the questions I ever had about God and the Universe, in entirely logical terms, and without any loopholes or loose ends.

Finally, I believe in the higher power, because my knowledge of it enables me to become an active part of my life and of what happens around me, rather than being just a passive particle of the show that throws people from side to side and they do not even realize why...

Yes, I wouldn't go so far as to say I am a Christian because I wasn't raised going to church and hardly know anything about the Bible. I do think that what I have read in the Bible, I have serious doubts about some of it. I do think that if there were no higher power though, we would all be dead. I say this because of all of the times in my life I can't even count that I came close to death (I am sure many of you can relate). There has to be something out there protecting us!

i agree with dukalink6 there has to be something more. Think of this why does it take TWO people to have a child? What are the chances of simple creation (without any thought) creating a male and female of any race or animal? Wouldn't it be more logical for simple creation to have made a being who was male and female both? When a child is in the womb what makes its heart start beating for the first time and what keeps it beating there after? There are too many things in this life that happen to be put down to mere chance.

Yes, I believe because I was raised in the church. I claimed God as my Savior as a teen and I continue to search and grow in my faith as an adult. God has blessed us with great children, a wonderful husband and gotten us through all sorts of tests and tribulations. Not believing is just too depressing with the state of the world as it is today.

Hi. Yes. I am a priestess of the Great Goddess, Isis, and I believe in Her completely. She has helped me more than I can say. And I know that She smiles on you too.
