You don't say how long this has been or how old you are. There could be many reasons, one of which is appendicitis. You should really go to an emergency room to be checked if it is your lower right side.

It could also be a problem with an ovary if you are a female.

You need to be checked ASAP. It is not something that you want to wait to find out about.

Mostly it is appendicitis because you have gas trouble. You can confirm it too.
Sleep on your back with knees up and feet rested. Keep your left hand thumb on your umbilicus and with the middle or ring finger of the same hand find the highest crest of your pubic bone above right thigh. With your right hand fingers check a painful spot at 2/3 distance from umbilicus towards bone crest. If yes it is appendicitis.
For gall stone or kidney stone you can have x ray or sonography.

Sounds like you need to check with your doctor. The ball could be a hiatal hernia. That would be painful if you were trying to lift something. This happens to people all the time when they don't use back braces for lifting.

Go to the Emergency, it sounds like your appendix.

If you are having vomiting, fever, shakes, sick to your stomach it could be your appendix but it sounds more like a hernia.
