I have been very lucky to always live in the country......... what i love is waking to clear Sky's with no buildings in view, the birds that wake u, walking out in the dew grass and the smell of the earth, people who don't hurry and will always say good morning, walking on the fells where u can dream, the wildlife and flowers of which you have time to notice and enjoy,
Living in the country is a slower pace, growing your own veg and standing with the sun on your face relaxed contented............. walking out at night feeling at ease and safe, no louts hanging around, no traffic polluting the air, children playing unaware how lucky they are to be living this life, the old man and woman in there garden smiling at each other, lazy cats and dogs, the beautiful colours that change all year round............... shall i go on ?

I live in just outside London on the border of Kent - close enough to town for the good nights out, but more importantly, close enough to the countryside to go camping with friends or take escape for a few hours for a stroll through a forest.
My favourite things about the countryside:
*The blue bells in the spring
*Hearing the leaves crunching under your feet in the autumn
*Feeling so far away from everything even remotely resembling a deadline
*The sense of life and peace you can only really feel in nature
*And most importantly, being able to see the stars properly!
Take care
Lx
ps- if you want to see English nature at it's best, then go to Cornwall. Not only is it raw and truly beautiful, but it's the home of the Eden Project as well :)

Close-nit communities you know the people in the pubs and can have a friendly chat with most people whereas in cities there are so many people you prefer to stick to yourself.
the Quite, Lovely scenery, not feeling threatened by the local youths the list is endless.
I have lived in both cities and a rural community and I would say they both have there charm, However you do need a car to travel to your local city (usually not that far away as it is England) the countryside can be very boring if you can't drive.

In a country rapidilly being swamped by overcrowding, the space of the countryside alone is enough to value, without the peace, tranquility, wildlife and other normal aspects.

i've got lived in London maximum of my existence and prefer to get out into the rustic, extremely places like the Lake District and everywhere with the help of the sea. I merely discover being surrounded with the help of nature very relaxing and fresh, on the 2d i merely could make do with community parks for my nature fix.
