At least he asked and didn't just take a sneaky look at your phone.

Dont let him start doing that hun - its an invasion of your privacy - next time he asks you - ask him how he'd feel if you demanded to read his - ask him why he wants to read them and regardless of the answer tell him you feel that its unnecessary - not that you have anything to hide - but you feel that it is an invasion of your privacy.
If its a trust issue on his behalf - then the relationship will only get worse the more involved ye get with him constantly checking on you etc so you might be best of out of it anyway. xx

Bloody cheeky if you ask me, And a nosey Parker too. I mean, he isn't your boyfriend or anything! You were right to say no. IF you want to explain yourself to him, ask him how he would feel if you did that to his phone!?

But be careful girlfriend, this guy could be trouble! I mean, if you do get serious, what if he is a possession freak! EEeeek!

Its a big red flag that he is obsessive and if you stay with him it could become an abusive relationship. He has insecurity issues that have nothing to do with you walk away while its still easy.

You're just right saying No babe. I hate people going through my phone as well. He's maybe just feeling a bit insecure, a bit jealous maybe. But your phones your phone at the end of the day. Just reassure him it is him you want x x x

This is a problem with trust, I don't know why else he would want to read your texts.

hmmm Invasion of privacy springs to mind. He's checking on who you're texting, and the content. I'd tell him to butt out...nicely of course.

this guy really fancies you and it seems that he wants to know if you are seeing anybody else at all. If you have nothing to hide, let him and reassure him that you aren`t.

Sounds like that. Ditch him before it goes wrong and he imprisons you in your home.

Good luck.
