I am not of the Jewish faith, I do not live in Israel, I am not Palestinian I do not live in Palestine and I am not an Arab.
If you look at my questions you will see that there are some very interesting answers - some rather pompous and some misinterpreting my question and details entirely. So many people are judgemental is it any wonder that the grave problems between the Israeli Jews and the Palestinians have made no progress whatsoever?
The Palistinians know of no other way to fight for their existance against the most technically superior and heavily armed force in the Middle East - Israel.
What other action can they resort to now that will enable them to live freely and justly in the country they reside in other than sacrificing themselves as human bombs?
It is tragic that in the 21st Century the political men in the World are incapable of having the courage to produce a solution that will enable Palistinians and Israelis to 'integrate' justly and with compassion.
I know for a fact that the attitude of the Israeli police and border guards to Palistinians is nothing short of arrogant - even to a British subject on vacation. Palistinians gueue from 2.00 am to cross checkpoints to get to work by 9.00 am - what kind of treatment is that and what kind of behaviour is that?
The Palistinians organised what was acknowledged as a democratic election - the only problem was that the democratically elected party wasn't the party which other prople/countries wanted.
The big mistake the democratically elected Hamas government made was not to renounce 'terrorism'. What it should have done was to form their own 'Defence Force' in uniform under the authority of the government, made up of those who are trying to preserve the human rights of their fellow men, women and children - so blatently abused by Israel - evidenced by UN resolutions which are ignored by Israel.
Are we expected to forget the virtual wipe-out of Lebanon by Israel just weeks ago - that seems to have disappeared from the media - and one has to ask why - although I suspect we all know that money talks in politics.
My emotions are mixed - I really would like to think that all the inhabitants of the land called Israel and Palestine could live together side by side in peace.
The Israelis may have suffered deaths at the hands of the Palistinian suicide bombers, but the Palistinians have also suffered death by Israeli military forces in addition to the loss of their livelihoods and their farmland. At least the Israelis can go about their daily lives and employment - something denied to the Palistinians by the Israelis.

i can't have faith each physique who has any human emotion or feeling would be did no longer be moved via the plight of the paletinians - 860 ineffective over 3 hundred toddlers - many females and complete families wiped out - 13 Israelis ineffective - ( 3 killed via the Israelis themselves) interior the words of self sustaining help companies ' it somewhat is hell on earth'- i do no longer see any element interior the Israelis throwing leaflets and telling the palestinians worse is to come again - frightening the hell out of an all allready terrified inhabitants, with nowhere to flow, no electrical energy , no water , no nutrition and the possibility of poisonous bombs coming to kill them interior the concentration camp which Gaza has grow to be- From what has occurred over the pst 60years - the palestinians have been abused , and degraded - it somewhat is marvelous that a race which nonetheless hunts down Nazi perpetrators from the 2d international war fortunately dishes out that therapy to a distinctive race, manipulating the media, refusing worldwide newshounds and committing breaches of humanitarian regulation and the Geneva convention. The UN and worldwide purple flow are annoying self sustaining investigations into the atrocities occurring - it somewhat is fairly no longer likely those will ever ensue or justice prevail- the area seems hopeless -

18? That's all?
Those Israelis don't know how to shoot. They need to kill 180,000 of those arabs, and maybe then those rockets will stop flying from Gaza to Israel.
How is that for neutral opinion?
How come Israel ALWAYS apologizes for missing a shot? They piss me off.
Whoever heard Arafat or Abbas apologize for a suicide attack?
The state of Israel was legally created out of the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I. The area was desolate, desert and swamp, with some small towns and a few inhabitants, many of them nomads. The inhabitants considered themselves mostly Syrian. The Balfour Declaration issued by the British, who were given the mandate over the area by the League of Nations. Jews have lived in the country since Biblical times. The Arabs from the surrounding areas were lured to "Palestine" by the industry and prosperity that the Jews brought to the region. Envy, hatred and religious fanaticism turned the Arabs against the Jews. In 1947, under pressure, the British resigned their mandate. The same year, the United Nations mandated partioning of the territory. The Jews, though disappointed, accepted the partition. The Arabs rejected it and launched war against Israel. The armies of five Arab countries invaded. Following the exhortations of the invaders, the Arab residents got out of the way hoping to return after victory was attained. They could then reclaim their property and that of the Jews, all of whom would have been killed or would have fled. Israel won. That and that alone is the source of the Palastinian "refugees". Had the Arabs accepted the UN partition plan, there would now have been a state of "Palestine" for the last 58 years. The might have attained a similar level of prosperity, advancement and development as Israel. 50% of Israel's population now includes refugees from Morocco, Algeria, Iraq and Yemen. All were accepted by Israel with open arms and have become successful members of their society. The Palestinians refused to integrate these refugees into their population and instead confined them to "refugee camps". The ones there are now fourth generation and through no fault of Israel.

So, you choose to ignore the fact that the Israelis were there to stop the missile fire, and only concentrate on the unfortunate Palestinians?
Who is to blame for IDF being there in the first place? The Palestinian ******* terrorists, that's who.
Also, the Israelis have already expressed sorrow that these innocent civilians were killed - have the Palestinians ever expressed such a thought regarding their regular murder of Israeli civilians?
I find your question intellectually dishonest. If you don't include why this happened - an Israeli response to terrorist rocket attacks - then you are nothing but a cheap, loathsome propagandist.

A hundred years ago, to be labelled an anti-semite, one would have to advocate killing jews. It was wrong then, and it's wrong now.
But nowadays, to be labelled an anti-semite, all one has to say is, "Eighteen Palestinians are killed in a barrage of Israeli tank fire in Gaza". It was right then, but it's wrong now? NFW. *
(* - No way.)
Any criticism of Israel, even if it's valid, is labelled "anti-semitism" by both Israel and the western stooges - oops, I mean media - and yet the mass murder of innocent Palestinian civilians is not newsworthy.
Israel whines about the "rise in European anti-semitism" when in fact what's rising is the disgust towards _Israeli_ terrorism. If there is any growing "anti-semitism" in the world, it's caused by Israel's own actions.

I believe Israel has learned the hard way to not show mercy,
to fight each battle as though your life depended on it, to impose as much punishment as is possible on the enemy, and to make them (Hamas) think twice, when they plan their next attack.
Keep in mind, the Jewish state is fighting on home turf, and they are fighting an enemy, Hamas that is sworn to destroy the Israeli's. Why would the Jews pull punches when fighting this enemy. Why would they show mercy on women and children who have been used to blow up Israeli's with their suicide bombs.
I don't believe the Jews deliberately target women and children, but the cowardly arabs do deliberately pick their battles where collateral damage is a real possibility. They do so to discredit the Jews, and frankly, I don't believe they (Hamas) give a rat's behind about those Palestinians who die, as a result of their action.

Of course.if Israel can't blame this one on Hamas(although I am sure they will find some reason to,'cos they always do),it will be called just a "mistake"...No one will ever accuse Israel of deliberately killing civilians.even if they do...
While Israel's crimes are called "self defense",the Palestinians fighting for liberty will be called "terrorists"...because they don't have the full support of the most powerful country in the world:USA...

Poor babies. I guess they forgot to duck after firing their RPGs and Katyusha rockets at the Israelis. Oh, and don't forget the Palestinian suicide belt-bombers, who murdered innocent women and children. And kidnapped Israelis and beheaded them for being Jewish. And . . .
