There are loads of places to go but you will have to find out what sort of things she likes so you can both enjoy the destination.

I wouldn't recommend the cinema because you're on a date & to get to know each other you can't really talk in the cinema, I remember a particular date I went on a few years ago with a guy & we met up for a coffee, got chatting & then we both decided to go & do something so we went bowling, we had so much fun we then went to quaser & then ended up in a pub for a few games of pool & sat down with a drink & chatted for the rest of the evening, it was the first time I'd ever met him & it was the best date I probably went on, I had so much fun so my recommendation would be to meet for a coffee so you can chat & get to know one another & both decide together whether or not you both want to progress the date on to going somewhere else & doing something else, that way if you do it's a good sign to know if he is enjoying your company & shows that he's keen to spend a bit more time. Goodluck with your date & please let us know how you get on. x

Find a lounge like bar, somewhere chilled out and relaxed but also serves light snacks. Don't go see a film, you won't be able to talk so you won't get to know each other well, also no proper pub as this makes you seem like an alcoholic! In a lounge, you could have a drink or coffee or a light snack and you can talk, good luck!!!

go for a coffee. It's informal enough that it isn't a date date if it all goes horribly wrong. It's not cheesy like the cinema or as you say a museum, and if it goes well then you can get more coffee while you chat.
