James Cameron, the Oscar triumphing Hollywood director who delivered us the Terminator and vast movies, alongside with Simcha Jacobovici a producer-director have made a documentary (to be aired March 4, 2007) that alleges they have got here upon the tomb of Jesus and that the info therein shows Jesus replaced into married to Mary Magdalene, had a minimum of one toddler named Judah, and, of direction, that Jesus did no longer bodily upward thrust from the ineffective. On March 28, 1980, basically exterior of Jerusalem interior the community of Talpiyot, shape workers by twist of destiny uncovered a 2000 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous cave conserving 10 ossuaries. An ossuary is a burial container used to shop bones. Six of the ten ossuaries had names on them: "Jesus, son of Joseph; Maria; Mariamene; Matthew; Judas, son of Jesus; and Jose, a diminutive of Joseph."a million The allegation is that Jesua is Jesus, between the Maries is his mom, the 2nd is his spouse, Mariamene is Mary Magdalene, that Matthew is a disciple, and Judas is Jesus' son; for this reason, the declare that it relatively is the tomb of Jesus. while the ossuaries have been first chanced on, the bones have been bumped off and buried. (i could no longer locate out what befell to them, regardless of if curiously they're lost.) Later, scientists examined the ossuaries and located "forensic info" interior the packing containers. They did DNA tests on the remnant organic and organic textile and located that Jesua and Mariamene at the instant are not genetically proper. this ability that they have got been a pair, no longer siblings. In different words, it would be resembling having a mom, a father, and a son buried interior the comparable tomb. the toddler could be proper genetically to the mummy and the daddy. yet, the mummy and the daddy does no longer be genetically pertaining to to one yet another; this is, they does no longer have the comparable mum and dad. The info look there, yet what does it advise? be conscious: on the top of this paper are substantial themes and questions with reference to the tomb and the ossuaries that argue by contrast being the relatively tomb of Jesus.

No. Mary Magdalene was a disciple of Jesus, apparantly set free from a life of sexual slavery (as a prostitute), but never became His wife.
Jesus Christ never married.
This and other stories like it are part of Gnostic legend, which promotes the belief in a series of gods and goddesses. The most famous groups to make use of this heretical branch of theology are the Merovingian Royal Line of France (read...politicians trying to establish a "divine right to rule") and the (self-proclaimed) "Prophet" Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints).
All of these claims are false.

Our most reliable source of information about Jesus' life (the Gospels of the new testament in the Bible) is silent about it. However, if he was, it wouldn't be a problem because the Bible says that marriage between a man and woman is holy. So if Jesus did marry Mary Magdelene, any "consecration" of the marriage would be okay, because it would be acceptable for Jesus or any man to lust after his own wife, and Jesus, even if he did marry her and have sex with her, is still Sinless.

No. There is absolutely no evidence to support this man-made theory. The nature of Christ's work meant that he would travel quite a bit and not have a permanent place to live while he was here. He came to fulfill the law and to die on the cross, not to become involved in the affairs of life.
Hint: The DaVinci Code was a novel, and therefore a work of fiction.

No it is not true. While Jesus was here on earth heNEVER did anything to please himself(Romans15:3)His foremost concern was the doing of God' will! Jesus did not come to earth to get married and have children. No his main concern when he was on earth was to do his Father's will, he did not come here to do his own will but that of his God and Father Jehovah's Will and he did accomplish this assignmen that God gave him! If you are basing this question on the story of the Davinci code, then you should know that that was not a true story but a fictional one! So it is FALSE!

I've seen The Da Vinci Code when it first came out, and I believe that the book is better than the movie... The movie was an entire waste of time and money. And the fact that they got the wrong guy to play Robert Langdon really screwed the movie up.
But now that I see the picture of the passover... How did Da Vinci
know who was sitting next to Jesus? And how did Da Vinci know
what passover looked like? It's nice to believe that Jesus had led a normal life just like man... Married with children, it's a cute thing to believe. Are you in agreeance?
I partly believe that it's true, or there is some type of truth to it. I don't see why Jesus couldn't have had a relationship with a woman or have been married to her a nd had some kids along the way... and being that people wanted to kill Jesus, they probably wanted to wipe out his family. And being that they wanted to wipe out all traces of there ever being a savior, why
NOT alter the bible and wipe out the book that Jesus wrote?
Make any sense?

Nope
That's just a false claim by people trying to prove the church wrong.
If you make up stories and tell them long enough, a few people will believe them.
This is called false teaching and fasle teachings were foretold to be prevelant throughout the land especially near the ends times.

No one will probably admit to it but if you notice that in order for Jesus to preach he would have had to have been a Rabbi, and in accordance with the Hebrew faith you cannot be a Rabbi without being married. So my opinion is that he had to have been married.

False. If Jesus married Mary, then it would have been in the bible because it would have been a big deal for his apostles to see thier Lord married. The wedding alone would have been a week. This is a stupid rumor that won't die, and has gained popularity since that stupid book came out!
