i broke up with him because of that famous line "we'd be better as friends"
because in my eyes i think that we would be better. so he tells me that its ok but he is still going to love me no matter what happens.
so do i just be fine with it and just except it or should i do something
im confused about how i should feel. im even having second thoughts about him, like wanting to be with him. is that wrong or is it right?

OH I just know what you feel now ,that happend to me alot ,but love has to be mutual and if you dont feel for him let him go ,dont care any more ,he'll be fine ,its disgusting to be with someone who loves you but you dont love him .all the love words sound silly in this case .

Luv,its a very sad situation to be in n wat u nid to knw is tht this is jus the start brace urself 4 more who wil come ur way n u dnt feel intimate feelings for them so all u gotta do is be honest with them,u'l say some like this......."swity u knw wat,i really like u n ur company so much n its nt that u r nt special to me bt the thing is wat i feel 4 u is pure palship n not love n i dnt want to hurt ur feelings by pretendin i luv u ofwhich al be hurtin maself too so lets jus kip things straight u r ma buddy nothin more....."Dnt lye to urself that u hve second thots,noooooo u r feeling sori 4 d dude n thts nt luv jus search ur soul,at the end of the day the choice is urs.. thats lyfe!

All I can tell you is you have to follow you own heart... even if you have to tell him to leave you alone for a few days so you can do some soul searching... that is OK too. and if he really loves you the way he says he does then he will understand and give you the space that you need... then you need to sit back and really search your soul and figure out how you really feal about him... don't jump into a realationship because you feel that it is the right thing to do for him... YOU need to do it if it is the RIGHT thing for you

Wow this is a good question; i had this problem and unfortunately i kept telling this person that i didn't love him but i cared for him a great deal
I had to take drastic action (which is not appropriate for yahoo answers) and now he doesn't talk to me at all.
Whatever you do just be sure that you are willing to live with the consequences. i miss him but i don't regret what i did :-)

my dear i will tell u only one thing and that is either LOVE HAPPENES OR DONT u just cant make urself luv somebody forcefully so introspect with in ur heart whether u luv him or not if the answer is yes then dont stop urself from expressing it and if the answer is no then dont force urself in any relationship , dont fool urself by thinking that maybe i will start loving him or viceversa.
