can a dental bridge be fitted to tight? I had bridge work done almost 2 months ago, and my gums stays very sore and swolen around where the extracted tooth was. I have a very hard time feeding the threader and floss underneath it too, without it starting to bleed

go back to your dentist! if after you go back to him you still are having problems, go to another dentist. there is always the possibilty that the work that was done is bad dental work. there plenty of detists out there that will throw any piece of garbage in a patients mouth if its cheap enough for them. good luck to you.

It's probably not to tight but the swelling could be due to a minor infection. Rince your mouth with warm salt water about 3 to 4 times a day and take Advill or Tylonal for the sorness. If the swelling isn't better after about 1 week go back to your dentist and explain your problem.
