I've checked the internet and can't find info on schools. Is it full-time schooling and is there an internet course? I have a full-time job now. Would it interfere?

I'm a hairstylist, and I went to Beauty School. In my city, there are a few Hairstyling Schools, so I picked the one Iiked, attended for the required amount of time. I passed my state board exams, and found jobs to give me experience, ( also practising on everyone that would let me! Creating a disaster, sometimes!;~)
The best way to find out where to go, would be to look in the Yellow Pages, under Hairdressing Schools, ( or on the internet, using Google )and call them, and make an appointment to visit the school.
I've enjoyed many years of cutting hair, styling, coloring and perming, etc...It's a great profession, lots of creativity, very rewarding. Good luck.

Find a cosmotogy program, either look in the phone book, or on the computer. Also you could look into your local tech school or trade school. Some schools let you set your hours, I don't think there is a online course. You will have to take a book test ( theory ), and a practical test on a person/ maniqin. Check your state for the hours you have to do before you can test. Tn is 1500 hrs.

Cosmetology school can be full time or part-time. You cannot do it over the internet though. its hands on. and you have to aquire hours. What state r u in? did you look in your local telephone book? It might interfere with your job depending on the hours you work and the hours u r required to be at school.
