i don't want to invite him over my house for no reason. will babysitting work?

Probably. In a situation where you both have to work, you can get to know what he's really like. And visa versa for you. Working with kids is a fun way to get to know someone! As long as you're not lying to him! There need to be kids at your house! lol

There are alot of excuses....but if you are young, like 16 or so...don't put yourself in any dangerous positions...and if you are babysitting your younger siblings, and your parents are gone, you best make sure it is OK with your parents first.

Nope, its worse, because instead of just inviting him over to your house to hang out...you are inviting him to a house where there are no adults. Unless you want to come across as easy....

well its worked for years and years. Give it a try, you never know. But not if you are still under 16 yrs. old., and don't put yourself in a situation you can't get out of.
