Hmm.. If you do something bad here, a group of impartial people may decide to send you to prison for a while, with the duration being indicative of the severity of your actions.
If you do something that God doesn't agree with, you go to the ETERNAL LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, regardless as to how bad your actions were, with no chance of escape and no mercy whatsoever.
Given the choice, I'd rather Man's mercy than God's.

Well technically..... he will have you tried in a court of law... argue about you a lot.... put articles in the newspapers about you for a while.... and then quite possibly let you go free or lock you up on a whim....
.... And the people in prison won't let you rot because your anal sphincter is too valuable.... at least until it gets stretched and saggy...
Yep.... the real question in life is this: Would you sooner risk a hell that probably doesn't exist.... or a regular anal reaming that most certainly does?

Zen I'm trying to follow the question but I must still be too low on caffeine. I would guess if the law is one will moral and religious ramifications then God will deal with you on it when you get to him. And quite probably he will have no more mercy than man.

Well maybe sometimes people deserve to be locked up and left to rot most of these type of people are priests what irony because they probably think God forgives them for what they did, also what about criminals who don't believe in God who will punish them then?

In many parts of our 'global' planet Earth we live by the expression that within the judicial system 'justice shall prevail'.
History reveals that adage to being not ALWAYS applicable!

It is written in Romans that,"He that carries the Sward, carries it not in vain, for he is a Minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doth evil."

True. But if we don't accept Jesus, we brake God's law and are guilty, and we won't go to Heaven.

There is a someone HIGHER you have to answer to, and if you don't repent of your crimes, prison will be a picnic compared to hell.
