How do you have written it? phonetically or well written?

If it's phonetically, it's French, it's written as 'C'est la vie' and means 'It's the life' or 'That's life'.

If it's well written, it's Spanish, you should write it as 'Se la vi' and means 'I saw it to her'

If it's French and misspelled, as all other answerers seem to think, I think it means "to wash one's self" :-)
