Neways. A friend of mine who suffered with severe dandruff for years tried this brand and his dandruff was gone within a week - never to return! Many shampoo's and conditioners on the market contain toxic chemicals that actually dry out the scalp and irritate the skin possibly causing dandruff in the first place or making it even worse rather than helping to get rid of it. Neways is the only company that I know of who make an entire range of Hair, Personal Care and Health products without any toxic chemicals at all. You cannot buy this brand in retail stores though, you will need to find a distributor - I can help you there!

Before you start treating your hair for dandruff make sure it really is dandruff cause a flaky scalp may be cause by too much sun, excessive use of hair dryers and the use of harsh soaps and shampoos.
Tips to get rid of dandruff:
Beat two eggs and add two tablespoons of water to it. Wet the hair and apply the egg mixture over the hair. Now massage your scalp and let the mixture on for ten minutes to fifteen minutes. Then rinse the hair with lukewarm water. This will keep both dandruff and hairfall problem away from you.
-Add 3 drops of tea tree oil, a natural antiseptic, to a small amount of shampoo and then wash your hair.
-Avoid or decrease your intake of fried foods, dairy products, sugar, chocolate and nuts.
-Taking selenium, vitamin B complex, vitamin E and zinc supplements can also help. Do not exceed 100mg of zinc a day.
hope this helps :)

Ideally you should go to the doctor, but if you don't want to do that or want to try something before then, ask a pharmacist and tell him/her that you have tried regular shampoos and they don't work. Usually there are products they keep behind the counter that are stronger than the regular stuff. I can't say for sure if there is one for dandruff, I only know for sure that there is deoderant and anti-itch cream, but I think they have some for dandruff too. Be prepared though because it will likely be more expensive than the average shampoo.

The best cure for dandruff is a good headshave. See, you shed skin cells all over, but hair holds it in. If you're bald, the skin cells from your scalp will be able to shed freely.
