You don't say which country you are in and the law may be different. In the UK domestic cats are protected by law and it is an offence to trap, injure or kill them.

in my country, (south africa) it is as legal as killing human beings, highly illegal!!!!!!!!. I am not aware of any LEGAL DOCUMENT stating you may kill cats. Who and what is the Humane Society?????? why do you want to kill cats????! Do you eat cats in your country??????

It is not legal to kill any domesticated animal you good get in terrible if you get caught killing any animal of any kind.

it depends on where u are coming from elsewhere in Africa where i come from it is no crime but in the UK & America i learnt is ilegal but the Bible also says kill & eat (Acts 10;13-15),but within i dont think it is right to kill a pet

if you're talking about a do-it-yourself method, then no. veterinarians are licensed to perform euthanasia, but will not do it just because you don't want the pet anymore. when i put mine down, they examined her first to see that she really was sick.

if you want to be rid of the cat, give it to an animal shelter.

i dont think its illegal but its very cruel!!! animals are like people and so basically its just as bad as killing a human!

i don't know if it is allowed by law, and in which country, but mostly killing cats is immoral...
