How to use existing copy of windows when using new hardware?

Question

Hi. I have recently installed a new motherboard , Ram chips and processor into my pc and they seem to be working fine but i can't start up windows from my existing hard disk it just keeps restarting with a blue screen. How can i get windows to accept all the new changes to the hardware, chipsets etc so i can start my machine?
N.B. I would prefer not to reinstall windows as i have all of my programs and files on my hard disk.

try a repair if that dont work do a complete format and reload o f the system xp will not carry over to a new board
