Hey,
Been broken up for 2 months..Ex had a drub problem, but
also was a good guy. But point it, he is avoiding the closure
conversation...I don't want to hold onto this hate..by doing this
I am still giving him control, but he won't face up to forgiving
and hearing what i have to say. Would it be wrong to just say
what i need to on a machine and make that my closure? You can't
make someone hear what they don't want to hear...

HELP!

I understand the importance of closure and how difficult it is to move on without it. Writing a letter helps me heal better. I can reread and edit until I have said what I need to say. I always try to keep it brief with no finger pointing. I try not to make ambiguous statements nor leave the possibility for future openings. I don't wish the other person well, nor do I wish them bad. Over is over. I mail it and the other person is now free to reread, burn, flush or whatever with the letter. Better Yet .... I am free to grow. Good luck with what ever method you chose.

It sounds like YOU really want to have this conversation so YOU can move on, and he could care less. At least,, thats the way he feels right now,, things may change in the next several months and he may want to have that conversation. I don't see anything wrong with leaving him a brief message,, or better yet,,, send him a letter explaining everything!??

Seems like if you have been broken up for 2 months, closure has already been made. If you feel things are still lingering, go ahead and leave message...

write down every thing you are felling. say it out loud as you write, and when youre done burn it, then go and have a good cry. youll feel better, trust me.

If this is your only means to tell this guy what you want, then do it.

Yes, it's gutless to do it that way.
