Reiki is a wonderful, healing energy. The reiki practitioner doesn't have to touch the recipient but moves their hands about an inch above the body and you can feel the heat coming from the hands. The recipient is asleep/in a deep state of relaxation within a couple of minutes and the practitioner works on them for about an hour. I work down the chakras in the body, although sometimes I'm guided to other hot spots in the body where the healing energy is needed. If you can imagine a white light coming down through your body and cleaning you out mind, body and soul. After a session, you feel totally calm and relaxed. Reiki has been known to cure many illnesses but the practitioner is not the healer, but acts as a conduit for spirit's healing. The healing comes from within the recipient, who has to be open to healing and willing to release the negative energies causing illness. Distance healing can also be carried out since the practitioner is able to connect to the recipient in spirit without being in the same place.
It was my saviour as I used to suffer from serious bouts of depression and anxiety attacks, before someone recommended reflexology and reiki to me. I've never looked back and love it so much that I went on to become a Reiki Master Teacher.

they heal people by swinging their hand across your whole body to cure your disease they belive that a body is sorrounded by magnetic field and by touching that magnetic field with your hand you can actually cure the person...for some people it works and for some people it dont....
