No. Not all of the hair will be removed on the first try. You usually have to go back several times to make sure all the hair from the area is removed.
But once the series of treatments has been completed, then you'll never have hair grow in the area again. It is the only permanent method of hair removal recognized by both the FDA and AMA.

No, just like all other methods, it needs repeated treatments to be judge anywhere near "permanent". But since the process is cheaper than laser, it is still your best bet for permanently removing unwanted hair.

I myself have decided that permanent removal is overrated. I go the wax route, and that way I don't have to redo for weeks, and the regrowth is finer and more sparse than shaving.

Nope. Nothing is permanent. It last longer than most procedures but not permanent.
