My fiance is coming home from an overseas trip with the military after 6 months away. I'd like to get him something nice since he got me a whopping lovely ring when we had a holiday half way through. Everytime I ask him what he wants though, he can't think of anything and after 7 years, I'm running low on ideas. Any suggestions?

After 6 months over seas, it may be more about just spending the time! It may be the little things like home cooking, and back rubs, and personal attention, that really make him glad to be home. If you really must buy a gift, make it something personal. Like maybe a really soft and fluffy robe with a monogram.

just invite him on a candle light dinner in your home. but do remember no one else present at that time.
cook the food he like,
dress urself in a way he likes u
and at the end present ur self for whole night

I'd plan a romantic weekend for just the two of you. You could have it at home, or you could go somewhere. I think your fella needs some alone time with you, away from his old responsibilities and stressors.

If it was me*** I would have a nice welcome home dinner and invite family and friends. For just the two of you a nice little getaway with a nice hot bath with roses just to show how much that you care. After all its a blessing that he will be return home safe. Go all out for you and yours.

a suggestion would be to be prepared and take him on a "date". go to the extravagance of booking a hotel, the restaurant, doing something fun. make a real night of it
that is a great present and it will remind him of how much you love him...

get some toys,some candles and give him your self.6 months is a long time just to give a ring,but then again if you wanna give him a ring get him a c.o.c.k ring(lol).good luck
