Well first of all the Bible didn't say that Noah put any animals in the Ark it says the animals went in on their own. I believe rats are just messed up because of sin, just like how lions eat other animals and so on this was not normal in the garden of Eden before sin and thus nature is messed up because of sin. Look at mosquito's too. All this will be repaired once Jesus returns the second time.

To make the best pets in the world. Rats are the most intelligent rodent and less likely to bite than any other pet. They are also cleaner than cats and dogs. Wild rats are here to clean the mess that we humans leave behind, that is their purpose.

if u ask me i would tell that he wanted us to be happy!!!!
Didn't get me???
If he had not created rats and mice, the most famous celebrity in cartoon, the mickey mouse, would not have been created and we would have been in a position to search some other means to get relief from our stress rather than watching micky mouse show or tom&jerry shows. So thank him for his creation of rats, and stop rearching on its creation

Rats eat smaller animals so there will not be to many. Rats feed larger animals so they don't die. It's the balance of nature.
