Be physically active. Research has shown improved mental health (memory inclusive) in physically active elderly people. Take plenty of the B vitamins e.g thiamine helps to prevent Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome which is associated with memory impairment. Avoid trans fatty acids from your diet. Avoid using sleeping pills e.g diazepam. Prolonged use has been associated memory loss or impairment.

Yes you can. Their is a pill on the market that you can by, called Omega 3, It's made from fish oil. I take one everyday after I eat a full meal. But make sure you take it with water. And don't over load your body with this pill. For you should know everything takes time.
