You are experiencing a burnout.
Life is more than school and work, although many will attempt to tell you otherwise. You need to enjoy a hobby, friends and relax also. That said, you can;t abandon school either.
COnsider going back to school with a new sense of vision toward it. You ae no longer terrified of failure, you can look as teachers as peers and not just masters or your slavery. Have intelligent discussions and look beyond this. You'll find that you study and do tinks because it interests you. Grades and motivation follow.
I used to be an average student by just trying too hard. I started dating nore and spending my social life wisely and my grades improved as I rushed thorugh homework knowing what i know rather than overanalyzing. I picked a college major because it sounded interesting, knowing that I could change it.

Get yourself a part time job to earn a little pocket money for yourself. This will improve your perspective and you will find that your attitude towards education improves. Its easier to do uni or the equiv immediately after school rather than having a working gap. However it is your choice. If I had my time over I would definitely do uni. Therefore I recommend that you reconsider but certainly don't rule it out. Things will look better once you make the choice for.

why not take a short break from the education system - you can learn so much through life experience too!
you can always get back into it at a later time, plus if you don't feel enthusiastic and motivated you won't enjoy it and get the best from it!

There's this design fault in humans that major hormonal changes occur just when you're doing your "A" levels. Don't worry, this happens and it will pass. You're fortunate that it's happening now rather than after you've got to University.
Strenuous physical activity can help.
