The question starts the statement with IF. That little word says it all. If only people would accept Jesus and His salvation.
The answer is that most people do not want to surrender control of their lives to anyone including Jesus. To be a Christian one has to surrender to Jesus, repent of one's sins, confess his sins to God, and change his life style from a sinful life to a holy life.
The carnal nature loves sin and sinful pleasures and pursuits. The whole world could be saved but God will not force the world to accept salvation. Listen to His invitation in Revelation 22:17:And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
John 3:15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

It's true what you are saying but you know this happen since it's not God who is ruling over this world, you can cross check what i said in 1 John 5:19 : " We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. "

Satan has really little time to mislay humans about the truth about God, and if you notice these last months or even years this is more obvious, we really see that its the world is in the hand of Satan.

Jesus has predicted this in Matthew 24, when the disciples asked him when the end will come.

As for the attitude of mankind you will find it in
2 Timothy 3: 1- 7 :
"But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth." .

People do not want to do what the bible says do either. They just want to believe and confess and say the sinners prayer, which is not even hinted at in the bible and is as unscriptual as you can get.

You forgot to mention that one MUST be baptized according to the bible. Mark 16:16 He that believer and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believer not shall be damned.

According to Jesus baptism is essential for salvation. If a person does not believe then it is a given that they will reject baptism. Baptism is not a work of man no more than believing is. Baptism is a work of God if you are to believe the bible.

In Acts 2:37 the people who heard Peter preach were pricked in their hearts and asked Peter what they should do. Guess what Peter told them? He did not tell them to repent and confess and give your heart to Jesus and say the sinners prayer. Listen to what Peter said:

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR the REMISSION of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter who was with Jesus from the beginning said that baptism is for the remission of sins.

I am not a Christian, but if you are going to preach the bible at least get it right.

Man has a rebellious nature and it is hard to get him to agree on anything even the saved can not always agree but it is OK to disagree on fine points as long as we agree on the basic things. Such as: Jesus died for me,saved me from my sins, rose again on the third day, was born of a virgin, now sits on the right hand of the Father and is coming back for a church.

There are too many false teachers out there, that corrupt the message of Christ. They lack a real understanding of thier
faith, and anytime someone doesn't agree with everything
they say, they condemn them to hell. That's UGLY!
People are angry because they think they are going to be
punished in hell when they know they didn't do anything
that bad.
We need to teach the true message of Christ. That out Creator
doesn't "pass the buck". He knows what this world is like,
and has made a way out for us.
But as you said. One has to accept it.
Our Creator doesn't make anyone go to hell.
But He doesn't make anyone go to Heaven either.
And there are many Heavenly and hell-like realities out there.
BELIEVE THAT!

Depends on what you mean unity..We know we will never have complete unity with the non-believer we know that there will be factions within the Church itself. Our job is to show love regardless of the response.

John 15:17-19
17This is what I command you: that you love one another.

18If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.

19If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.
