I am sorry, I have never heard of a president of the class, we used to have a head boy and prefects, but no presidents.
If it were your classmates that voted you in, surely you got the votes by telling them what you would do, such that they chose you over the others.
Any fun stuff, would also depend on the age and sex of the students. I think you should give more detail in your question

Well done to you, go totally crazy and throw a new year eve party next weekend in the school hall for your class mates and allow them to bring a friend each, tell them its an extra treat for voting for you, good luck

i think u should do like a play portraying what happens in class even what the teachers do.might not be crazy but pretty fun.i also wanted to be in student council but knew i couldn't always keep my promises.BEST OF LUCK!!!
